Ave Sol Sanctuary is an eco lodge situated at the mouth of the Pacuare Gorge inside a protected zone. Although in a remote location the lodge offers electricity and hot showers thanks to its hydro-powered generator system, a model of ecotourism and sustainable business practices. The property borders the indigenous Cabecar Indian Reserve.

Rooms: Ave Sol Sanctuary offers eco-friendly cabins and rooms set along the Pacuare River, designed to immerse guests in the surrounding jungle. Accommodations feature comfortable beds, scenic river or rainforest views, and private or shared bathrooms. Some rooms include balconies or terraces.

Dining: The lodge offers freshly prepared meals served on site. Dishes are inspired by local Costa Rican flavours and made using simple, wholesome ingredients to nourish guests after days of adventure on the river or in the rainforest.
