Pachira Lodge is a comfortable jungle lodge, situated overlooking the main canal of Tortuguero and surround by rainforest. Howler monkeys and Capuchin monkeys are often seen at the lodge.
Rooms: are in either wooden construction individual bungalows, four or six room blocks. Rooms have screened windows and ceiling fans (no air-conditioning).
Dining: meals are served buffet style at set times.
Onsite: There is a turtle shaped swimming pool onsite. There are 34 acres of tropical forest at Pachira Lodge and there is a self guided hiking trail that takes approx. 1.5 hours.
Nearby Excursions: Turtle nesting season is from July to October and guided night tours are available from the hotel.

Tortuguero packages include exploring the Tortuguero canals by boat which is a great opportunity to spot wildlife such as caimans, monkeys, basilisks and a variety of different bird species.
