Celeste Mountain Lodge has been designed with responsible tourism in mind. There are 4 hectares of protected primary forest and 3 hectares of open land on the property. Wildlife is abundant around the lodge and there is the opportunity to see howler and capuchin monkeys, toucans, hummingbirds and many other species. From the lodge you will see views of Montezuma (3rd bump of the Tenorio volcano) and to the west, the five peaks of the Miravalles volcano on the horizon. Further down, in the valley, lies the peaceful rural village of Bijagua. As Celeste has a higher altitude it offers a constant spring climate with temperatures ranging from 18 to 30 degrees and always with a pleasant breeze.
Rooms: The lodge has 18 rooms and are located on two floors and have views of the volcanos, rainforest and valley.
Dining: There is a bar and restaurant onsite. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and the cuisine is a fusion between local and international cuisine, inspired by local dishes. The restaurant offers vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose free meals.
Onsite: The Lodge has private 2 km trail leading through the tropical forest. Wifi is available in a communal area.
