Capitan Suizo is a beautiful beachfront boutique hotel that is located at the end of Tamarindo bay and surround by natural tropical foliage which ensures plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities. You may see (and hear) howler monkeys, iguanas, racoons and anteater as well as an array of birds. The hotel is environmentally conscious and has a five leaf award in Costa Rica's Certificate of Sustainable Tourism. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace overlooking the lush, tropical gardens.

Rooms: There are just 35 rooms in total which include 22 superior rooms, six bungalows, six ocean front rooms and a four bedroom suite. All rooms have either a balcony or terrace, air-conditioning, a King bed and a living area with a queen sofa and a furnished with local materials. Room amenities also include ceiling fans, wifi, fridge, coffee and tea facilities, phone and safe. The maximum occupancy of the rooms is three people.

Dining: The hotel offers excellent dining at the open air restaurant in front of the beach. A breakfast buffet is available as well as an a la carte lunch and dinner menu. Romantic dinners can also be set up on the beach.

Onsite: There is a pool and spa services onsite. The Playa Tamarindo beach has gentle surf and is ideal for swimming, beginner surfing or boogie boarding and kayaking. The hotel is walking distance from Tamarindo town with it's shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Nearby Excursions: There are Catamaran sailing trips available, as well as snorkel and dive trips.
