Nantipa is a luxury boutique beachfront hotel situated in the heart of Santa Teresa on the Nicoya Peninsula, one of the Blue Zones of the world. The relaxed surfing town of Santa Teresa, has world class surfing conditions, excellent yoga studios and wide range of restaurants.

Rooms: There are 15 suites set over 5 acre plot with 155 metres of beachfront. There are three categories of rooms, the Ninta bungalows are 800 square feet of luxury space including a terrace, a private plunge pool, hammock, king bed and double indoor/outdoor shower. In the Beachfront bungalows the floor to ceiling glass doors open to ocean views. The Nanku Suites work well for small families or groups. They offer a sleeping area with either one king bed or two queen beds, and a large living room space with two twin daybeds.

Dining: Manzu is the beachfront restaurant, with a palapa thatched roof that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here and the menu offers both traditional Tico recipes as well as international favourites. All are made with fresh, local ingredients and there are also some signature cocktails made with Costa Rican fruits.

Onsite: There is a large lagoon style swimming pool at the heart of the property and direct access to Santa Teresa beach. There are rip tides in the ocean, caution is needed and bathing is best in the tidal pools at low tide.

Nearby Excursions: Nantipa is within walking distance to the restaurants, cafes and bars of Santa Teresa. The concierge at Nantipa can arrange excursions such as surf lessons at Playa Hermosa or Playa Carmen, horse riding at a local ranch, guided hikes at Curu National Park or Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve. You could visit the waterfall at Montezuma and go zip lining.
