Almonds and Corals is located in the heart of the Gandoca- Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. Accommodation is in rustic bungalow accommodation with palm roofs and tented walls nestled within the dense forest, connected by wooden walkways. A short trail takes you to a beautiful beach of Playa Grande.
Dining: The palapa roofed restaurant stands in between the bungalows and the trail that leads to the beach. It has been designed to let the elements of the rainforest be part of the decoration. Excellent chefs delicately prepare the international dishes with a pinch of local flavour.
Onsite: The hotel offers a bar, kayaks, bikes, snorkelling equipment and boogie boards rental. The hotel offers a laundry service.
Our Comment: This is a back to nature experience on the stunning Playa Grande beach, howler monkeys and nature surround. More remote location than other hotels in the southern Caribbean. *Surfing beach, swimming not recommended due to riptides.
