Lapa Rios is a superior luxury eco-lodge set in a private 1,000 acre rainforest reserve with just 17 bungalows built on a ridge overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With four onsite naturalist guides and many trails on the property, this hotel enables guests to truly appreciate the outstanding area and wildlife that lives within it. The hotel is within walking distance of three beaches and has waterfalls on the grounds.

Rooms: There are 17 thatched bungalows set along a ridge that have 200 steps from the furthest to the main lodge. Each bungalow has a private outdoor deck with shower, hammock and chairs, either King or two Queen beds, ceiling fans, indoor bathrobes and an in-room safe.

Dining: The open air restaurant Briza Azul offers views of the rainforest and Golfo Dulce and dining is a la carte featuring gourmet meals with locally sourced food, freshly prepared food.

Onsite: Onsite guided tours can include a waterfall hike, medicine walk, starfish walk, night walks and birdwatching.
