Xandari Resort and Spa is ideally located just 20 minutes drive from San Jose International Airport and close to the Poas Volcano. Colourful villas have terraces with views across the Central Valley. Relax in the tropical landscaped gardens or in one of their pools or explore the onsite trails to the waterfalls.

Rooms: are in 24 uniquely designed villas that are spacious with high ceilings adorned with original artwork and have air-conditioning. Bathrooms are spacious and overlook a private walled garden with foliage that attracts hummingbird and butterflies. Villas have terraces with views across the Central Valley, some have two queens and a day bed, ideal for families or groups.

Dining: occurs in the restaurant which has inside dining and open air under a covered terrace, again with beautiful views across the Central Valley. Breakfast is a continental buffet and dinner is a la carte with international and Costa Rican local specialities.

Onsite: There are 40 acres of tropical forest with several miles of trails that lead to multiple waterfalls. There are three pools and a spa onsite, the sunset pool has a hot tub and is a great spot to watch the fireflies at night. There are two lap swimming pools.

Nearby Excursions: Poas volcano is nearby and is a half day excursion to see the crater.
